Ramadan is an Islamic month of fasting that begins at dawn and ends at sunset. Its purpose is to promote principles like patience, charity, and community service.

During this blessed month, Allah (SWT) revealed the Holy Qur'an to the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). Among Islam's five pillars is a month-long fasting period that begins at sunrise and ends at sunset.

The holy month of Ramadan is a time of reflection and renewal for Muslims. During this time of forgiveness, they seek to deepen their spirituality, overcome vices rather than merely putting them on hold, pray more, fast more, sleep less, give more charity, and strengthen their imaan, or faith.
