24-hour Child care centers opened at Makkah Grand Mosque for Ramadan worshipers
In response to the influx of millions of worshippers to the Grand Mosque in Mecca during the holy month of Ramadan, the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has established specialized centers to accommodate young children. These centers offer round-the-clock care and educational and entertainment programs. Trending: Rules of Overtime hours in Saudi Arabia
Designed for children between the ages of 1.5 to 6 years for boys and 1.5 to 9 years for girls, the centers provide a safe space for kids to play and learn while their families attend religious rituals.
The initiative seeks to teach qualities of service and support in visitors to the Grand Mosque through programming such as Quran lessons, instructional storytelling, and creative activities customized to different age groups.
The facilities are supervised by a group of experts in child development, who make sure it's a safe and structured environment for the kids.
Besides supervised learning, the centers offer food, places to watch instructional movies, and specific locations for sleeping and resting.
These children's care centers are available at the Third Saudi Expansion area 12 to 15 in the courtyard of the Makkah Grand Mosque, opposite to the gate number 100 to 104. The center operates 24 hours a day during the Ramadan season. Most Viewed: Huge Saudization update: 269 jobs affected
