Saudi Arabia announces Eid Al-Fitr holidays for Private and non-profit sectors
The official spokesman for the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development said that the Eid Al-Fitr holiday for the private and non-profit sectors will be at the end of Saturday, Ramadan 29, and will last for 4 days. This means, Eid Al-Fitr holidays will begin on Sunday, 30th March 2025, and will last up to Wednesday, 2nd April 2025, and Thursday, 3rd April 2025, will be a working day for private and non-profit sectors.
A spokesman stressed the importance of employers’ commitment to organizing leave in accordance with the approved systems and regulations, according to Al-Ekhbariya channel.
Earlier this, the Saudi Central Bank officially announced the Eid Al-Fitr 2025 holiday date for banks, remittance centers, and financial institutions subject to its supervision and oversight.
The Central Bank explained that the Eid Al-Fitr 2025 holiday for banks begins on Sunday, 1st Shawwal 1446 AH, until the end of Wednesday, 4th Shawwal 1446 AH. When is Eid Al-Fitr 2025 this year?
According to astronomical calculations, this year Ramadan will be complete in 30 days, and Eid Al-Fitr is expected to be celebrated on Monday, 31st March 2025, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. However, the exact date will be announced after the moon sighting of Shawwal 1446.
