5 year jail term for a Citizen for scamming 41 people online
A Saudi national received a five-year prison sentence for committing online fraud against up to 41 people. Trending: No entry into Makkah without permit
The Financial Fraud branch of the Public Prosecution under the Ministry of Justice has completed its investigations into complaints filed against a person accused of committing financial fraud offenses, including 41 victims.
The accused had engaged in multiple fraudulent activities, including the selling of fake products through internet marketplaces, as found throughout the course of the investigations.
After tricking many victims into thinking there were bargains, the scam artists managed to steal their money. After the investigations concluded, the relevant court received the accused and decided to sentence him to jail. The Public Prosecution then issued an order to arrest him.
