Forbes lists 15 Saudi billionaires, Alwaleed bin Talal Leading in Arab World in 2025
For the first time ever, 3,028 billionaires from all around the world are included in Forbes magazine's 39th annual list of billionaires for 2025. A record-breaking number of billionaires currently have a collective net worth of $16.1 trillion, up about $2 trillion from 2024 levels, making them the wealthiest people in the world. With 247 new billionaires added to the list compared to the year 2024, Forbes based this year's rating on stock prices and currency rates as of March 7, 2025.
With 902 billionaires, the United States topped the list, followed by China (516, including Hong Kong) and India (205).
With a total net worth of $128.4 billion, the number of Arab billionaires from nine nations in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region will reach 38 by the year 2025. In 2024, there were just 20 Arab billionaires, with a total net worth of $53.7 billion, this is a major rise from that year.

After an absence of seven years, Saudi Arabia is back on Forbes' list of the world's billionaires. A total of fifteen Saudi billionaires make the list, with fourteen becoming new billionaires as a result of holding shares in Saudi Stock Exchange companies. The net worth of Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Al Saud is $16.5 billion, making him the wealthiest Arab and the wealthiest Saudi in the world.
With fifteen billionaires and a total net worth of $55.8 billion, Saudi Arabia is the Arab country with the biggest number of billionaires. The United Arab Emirates and Egypt each have five billionaires, with respective net worths of $24.3 billion and $20.6 billion.
Two new UAE billionaires have recently been announced, Mohamed Alabbar, founder of Emaar, one of the biggest real estate companies in the area, and Hussein Bin Ghatti Al Jabouri, chairman and founder of Bin Ghatti Real Estate Development in Dubai.
