Would it be possible to issue an exit re-entry visa for more than a year?
A beneficiary contacted the Passports Department to inquire about the possibility of receiving an exit re-entry visa valid for more than a year.
According to the administration, a resident's ID card or iqama must cover the necessary term for an exit and re-entry visa to be issued for more than one year.
The duration of exit and return visas, if specified in months (60, 90, or 120 days), is valid for 3 months for travel from the date of issuance, and the duration of the visa is calculated from the date of travel. However, we calculate the duration of the visa from the date of issuance if it specifies a return date in days. See Also: Saudi Arabia is actively considering rent ceiling in the Kingdom
Extension of exit and re-entry visas:
The General Directorate of Passports has designated an online procedure for extending exit and re-entry visas for individuals outside the Kingdom. Paying the fees using the Absher or Muqeem platforms enables citizens to perform this procedure with Jawazat.
The Passports Department sets the charge for extending an exit and re-entry visa for those outside the Kingdom at SAR 100 for a single-entry visa and SAR 200 for multiple-entry visas. All fees must be paid at Saudi banks using the official government payment mechanism.
Travelers leaving the kingdom can extend their exit and re-entry visas as long as their resident ID is valid for a minimum of 90 days. Saudi Expatriates on Google News
