MOI launches Tasreeh platform to integrate Hajj permit issuance
The Ministry of Interior (MOI) in Saudi Arabia, in collaboration with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), launched the Tasreeh platform, a digital platform for Hajj permits. Trending: Saudi Arabia bans accommodation without a Hajj permit in Makkah from 29th April
Thanks to the platform's technical integration with the Nusuk platform, the appropriate authorities can now issue licenses and permissions for domestic and international pilgrims.
In addition, it allows the granting of permits for official and service vehicles to enter Makkah and the holy sites, as well as permits for Hajj workers and volunteers. Tawakkalna, the all-inclusive national app, also lets platform beneficiaries see their permits.
As part of Saudi Vision 2030's Guest Service Program, the platform also seeks to improve technical integration between Hajj-related government and service agencies, standardize, organize, and coordinate Hajj-related procedures, and help provide high-quality services to pilgrims.

During the Hajj season, only Hajj pilgrims can obtain Umrah permits:
Entries for Umrah pilgrims from outside the Kingdom have been halted until the Hajj season is completed. Starting from April 29, 2025, until June 10, 2025 (from the first day of Dhul-Qadah 1446 to the 14th day of Hajj 1446), only hajj pilgrims will be granted umrah permits.
The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah will not issue Umrah permits even to domestic pilgrims. Travelers with visit visas will not be permitted to remain in Makkah past April 29, 2025.
The relevant departments will issue entry permits to those operating in Makkah. Only those who have obtained a Makkah iqama, a Hajj Tasreeh, or a temporary employment visa through Absher or Muqeem can enter Makkah.
