With the help of the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority; the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development; and the Economic Cities and Special Zones Authority (ECZA), foreign talent can take advantage of tax and customs exemptions, quicker visa issuance, and financial equivalence exemptions.
To attract investment to the Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in the Kingdom, the Economic Cities and Special Zones Authority has partnered with important Saudi government agencies to offer specific incentives and regulatory advantages.
This cooperation is all part of a larger effort. These partnerships demonstrate ECZA's dedication to creating an open and simplified regulatory environment that attracts superior investments. Recommend: Absher now allows update of new passport information for a fee
"We are working closely with various government entities to activate a suite of attractive investment incentives, such as tax exemptions and streamlined labor regulations, positioning Special Economic Zones as a competitive and promising destination for investors," said Nabil Khojah, Secretary General of the ECZA, highlighting the importance of these partnerships.
Reducing the regulatory burden on both new and existing investors and improving operational efficiency were the goals of the new measures, he stated.
Establishing specialized resolution and settlement centers within SEZs is one of the main goals of the collaborations, which also include an agreement with the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration and the Ministry of Justice. See Also: Major real estate reforms in Saudi Arabia
For the benefit of companies, these centers will resolve disputes and provide legal assurance in accordance with worldwide best practices.
As part of its efforts to improve compliance and ease product and service entrance into the Saudi market, ECZA has teamed up with SASO and the SFDA, the Saudi Food and Drug Authority.
To back digital transformation, ECZA is activating data-sharing mechanisms and developing its One-Stop-Shop site to improve integration across government platforms. Investors can expedite licensing and operational processes by connecting with the essential regulatory entities through this platform. Don't miss any update from us; follow our Facebook channel
